One project, all term

Every week adds to the same codebase, so ideas build on each other instead of staying as separate exercises.

Build, then name it

You meet the problem in code first. The lecture then names the principle, using code you wrote.

Evidence, not notes

Each week ends with deliverables in your repository. By the last week, the repository is your portfolio.
